As of June 30th, 2021, Medicare (and now most other major insurers) are no longer covering charges for COVID-19 testing that are deemed “medically unnecessary”. This includes testing that is for travel, entrance into events, and for return to work/school or otherwise de-quarantining.

Also, please be advised that if you have not met your yearly deductible your insurance company may assign your office visit charges to you, whether or not your testing is deemed medically necessary. Because of this shift in policy, we are now collecting co-pays at the time of service.

If you are concerned about potential charges, please speak to our front desk staff or billing department so they can explain your options for getting tested and the charges that may be incurred.
