Dr. Loukatos has spent the past 18 years working in and managing emergency departments, and has the knowledge and experience necessary to take care of any condition that walks through the door.  His years of experience have taught him that most patients who end up in the ER can be cared for in the Urgent Care setting, at a fraction of the cost and in a more comfortable environment. It is this experience that sparked the vision for AlphaCare. Dr Loukatos is committed to offering a new option to patients of the Gulf Coast by providing the best possible care in an environment that is fast, friendly, and cost-efficient. A native of Fairhope for the past 30 years, Ashley began her career as a Physician Assistant when she graduated from the University of Southern Alabama’s PA program 23 years ago. A native of Fairhope for the past 30 years, Ashley began her career as a Physician Assistant when she graduated from the University of Southern Alabama’s PA program 23 years ago.  Her practice history includes over a decade in the emergency department as well as several years of orthopedics, cardiology, urology, and dermatology.   Her vast experience serves as the foundation for the exceptional care she provides as a full-time provider at our Fairhope and Spanish Fort locations.   Lindsey brings her years of experience as both an ER nurse and an ER Nurse Practitioner to AlphaCare. This ER experience is the foundation that allows her to handle her urgent care cases with a high level of expertise. A long term resident of Ocean Springs, Lindsey enjoys taking care of her neighbors at our Ocean Springs location. She also serves as the Provider Performance Improvement Specialist for AlphaCare and helps ensure that all providers deliver the best possible care to our patients Melissa brings over a decade of experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner to her patients at AlphaCare.  Prior to joining AlphaCare in 2022, Melissa worked in the urgent care setting as well as in the occupatinal health and primary care space.  Melissa brings over a decade of experience as a nurse and nurse practitioner to her patients at AlphaCare.  Prior to joining AlphaCare in 2022, Melissa worked in the urgent care setting as well as in the occupatinal health and primary care space. She prides herself on providing empathetic, quality healthcare with a focus on patient assessment and education.  Melissa works at all of our Mississippi locations but practices primarily at AlphaCare Urgent Care Biloxi. Michele McLeod has over 30 years of clinical experience. She has served as the lead provider and assistant medical director for a large Urgent Care network, as well as owning and operating her own medical practice. Michele McLeod has over 30 years of clinical experience, which includes a background in critical care nursing prior to her career as a nurse practitioner. She has served as the lead provider and assistant medical director for a large Urgent Care network, as well as owning and operating her own medical practice.  Her areas of expertise include occupational health, women's health, dermatology and wound repair, and health maintenance and wellness. McLeod draws upon this experience to provide complete and compassionate care to her patients at AlphaCare. Charles began his career in medicine as a nurse at a Level II trauma center before going on to complete his advanced practice degree at the University of Southern MS, where he was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society. He spent the next 5 years practicing in the Urgent Care space before joining AlphaCare in 2024. Charles has a passion for quality, efficient care that is reflected in his practice at AlphaCare. He can be found at all 3 Mississippi locations but primarily practices at our Biloxi Urgent Care center. Lauren earned her Advanced Practice degree from the University of South Alabama in 2011. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in urgent care, cardiology, and aesthetics. Lauren earned her Advanced Practice degree from the University of South Alabama in 2011. She joined the AlphaCare team in 2023 with the launch of our Alabama locations and takes great pride in providing high-quality care to the Fairhope community. Nathan began his career in acute care an emergency department nurse, where he practiced for over 15 years before deciding to pursue his practitioner degree. He graduated from the University of South Mississippi in 2014 and has been practicing as an emergency department, family practice, and hospitalist practitioner since.  Nathan can be found splitting his time between all three Mississippi locations and has quickly become an integral part of the AlphaCare Team. Amanda received her Master of Science from Colorado State University after serving in the United States Navy. She joined AlphaCare in November of 2021 and has quickly become a favorite of our patients. She spent several years caring for our active duty military, their families, and veterans. She also independently ran a State Health Department clinic and was the chief operator at a COVID-19 testing site. Katie began her nursing career over thirty years ago working in critical care and later in diabetes management. She pursued her advanced degree in 2008 at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS.  Katie began her nursing career over thirty years ago working in critical care and later in diabetes management. She pursued her advanced degree in 2008 at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. She relocated to the Gulf Coast in 2018 and brings experience in occupational health, urgent care and most recently primary care.  Katie loves the Gulf Coast, she is excited about planting roots here and is happy to be a part of the AlphaCare family at the new location in Pass Christian. Amanda is originally from Washington County, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2011, followed by her Master's Degree in Nursing in 2017. Her professional background includes experience in various medical settings, with a significant portion of her career spent in the emergency room. Amanda is a mother of two children and enjoys caring for kids and the residents of Baldwin County. Joe began his medical career in the Military as a Navy Corpsman before completing his Advanced Practice Degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He retired from the military in 2021 with 28 years of service, with the last 10 being a physician assistant with an emphasis in emergency medicine, urgent care, occupational health, and family medicine. Prior to joining AlphaCare Urgent Care, Joe worked in occupational health and urgent care. Joe focuses on providing quality care that is educational and patient oriented. He works at all of our Mississippi locations. Lindsey has been a registered nurse since 2010 and a nurse practitioner since 2015. She has practiced both as and RN and NP primarily in the emergency department and urgent care settings throughout her career, as well as short time in Pediatrics. Dr. Melissa King is a Board-Certified Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine and disaster response across the U.S. She is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Virtual Interactive Provider Response (ViPR). A national leader in telehealth innovation and advanced practice provider (APP) practice, Dr. King has held key executive roles at Ochsner Health, eMD Telehealth Solutions, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she developed and led advanced TelEmergency and APP programs. She is the former President and Treasurer of the Mississippi Board of Nursing and previously served as Southeast Regional Director for the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners. Dr. King is a frequent national speaker and published expert in telehealth, workforce utilization, and quality of care. Her work has been recognized with numerous honors, including Emergency Nurse Practitioner of the Year, Nurse of Distinction, and Healthcare Hero. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and her Master’s in Nursing from the Mississippi University for Women. Justin has experience in assessing and caring for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting. Justin can be found at all four Mississippi AlphaCare locations. Justin began his career as a nurse in surgery at a Level 1 trauma center University of Mississippi Medical Center for 5 years before completing his advanced practice degree at University of Southern Mississippi in 2021. Justin moved to the coast in 2021 and started his NP career in Urgent Cares. Justin has experience in assessing and caring for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting. Justin can be found at all four Mississippi AlphaCare locations. Justin loves spending his free time with his family. As a PA he has experience working with a hospitalist team, in pain management and cardiology prior to joining the AlphaCare family. He is known for his compassionate approach and takes pride in treating each patient with the care and respect that they deserve. Tim's passion for emergency medicine began with his introduction to healthcare during Emergency Medical Technician training. He later received his Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies at University of South Alabama, building upon a prior Master of Science in Biology. As a PA he has experience working with a hospitalist team, in pain management and cardiology prior to joining the AlphaCare family. Tim has been a resident of Baldwin County for over a decade, where he is deeply rooted in the community, and values the connections he builds with his patients. He is known for his compassionate approach and takes pride in treating each patient with the care and respect that they deserve. Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, which remains his greatest source of joy and inspiration. Taylor earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. Taylor began her career as a nurse working in the neonatal intensive care unit from 2019-2023, gaining experience in multiple hospital settings as a travel nurse. Taylor earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi. When she’s not caring for patients, Taylor enjoys spending time with family, friends, and traveling to new places. Patricia Donahue is a Certified Physician Assistant with over a decade of clinical experience since earning her degree from LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport in 2012. Her diverse background includes Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Urgent Care, and Primary Care. She is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice. Outside of her clinical work, Patricia enjoys mentoring aspiring healthcare professionals and giving back to her profession by volunteering with the NCCPA. Graduated from nursing school in 2017 and worked in the ER until completing her Nurse Practitioner degree five years ago. She has since worked in urgent care. Julieana Brzozowski, FNP-C, began her career as a nurse practitioner in 2020 after earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. Julieana is passionate about providing timely, compassionate care and helping patients feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their treatment plans. She takes pride in staying up to date on current research and evidence-based practices to ensure each patient receives high-quality, personalized care when they need it most. Having lived on the Gulf Coast since 2011, Julieana now resides in the Barnwell community near Fairhope with her family. She is proud to serve the community where her husband was born and raised and values the opportunity to care for her neighbors and local families. Ms. Hansen began her career at AlphaCare as a Medical Tech after many years spent in the Emergency Department. Her commitment to excellent patient care has led her to the roles of Lead Med Tech, Clinical Coordinator, and now Director of Operations.
